Mark 14:53-72 – Denial / Falling Behind
Jesus is brought before the Sanhedrin, and when Jesus confesses to being the Messiah, Caiaphas tears his robe, and tears away the priesthood as well. Meanwhile, Peter denies knowing Jesus, but even in his failure, Jesus was preparing him to strengthen his brothers and lead the church.
