Mark 14:1-11 – Anointing / Letting Go

Gospel of Mark

While Jesus is dining in Bethany with his friends, Mary comes in with an alabaster jar of perfume, breaks it, and pours it on his head to anoint him for burial. She was willing to let go of a valuable possession that was tied to her future welfare, just to bless Jesus. What are you holding onto that you need to let go of?
