Slave. Christian. Brother in Christ. Onesimus stole from his master and ran away, then had an encounter with the imprisoned Paul…and found Jesus. This is Paul’s plea to Philemon, the slave’s master, to give freedom to his new brother in Christ. Written from prison, Paul writes of freedom, knowing that while he is a prisoner of Rome, his true situation is that he is Captivated by Christ.

"I don't believe in God." You've probably heard it. Possibly said it. May even be thinking it now. But common sense dictates that just because you don't believe in something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. So...what if God is real? And if He is, what can we determine about His character, His nature? And even if He is real...why doesn't he show Himself? Why won't He talk to me? Does He even care about me? And what does it all matter in the big picture anyway?
