This is Paul’s plea to Philemon, the slave’s master, to give freedom to his new brother in Christ. Written from prison, Paul writes of freedom, knowing that while he is a prisoner of Rome, his true situation is that he is Captivated by Christ.

Christmas and the Cross – Christmas 2020
It's our 2020 Christmas Celebration! Joseph and Mary had a tough year. But Hope was coming into the world in the form of a little baby boy. What made this baby so special that we celebrate this birth year after year? Well, if we stop at Christmas, we miss the whole story. There is no Hope without the cross. There is no salvation without the cross. Jesus born is only the beginning. Jesus Risen is everything. It's Christmas AND the Cross.
